A fourth album entitled “33” for MC DPillz

The rapper from Saint-Jérôme, DPillz presents his fourth album entitled "33" after releasing the songs "Mindfulness» at the beginning of summer with the Togolese artist Tita-Nik, "Miracle" with Jossah at the end of August, and finally "Twin Flames» in collaboration with Arianne Fleury on September 22nd.

The titles received good reviews, especially from the media Actuanew.fr (France) and CBC Music among others. In this opus composed of 7 pieces, DPillz explores various musical genres such as rap, trap, drill and slam. The artist highlights themes of hope, brightness and commitment through powerful lyrics, creating a spiritual and moving atmosphere. The rapper has called upon artists and collaborators with whom he has had a trusted relationship for several years, including beatmakers Bamis (We will productions), Ace Woodz, DJ Sweetdrop and TD. Beats.

Business, in collaboration with DAN-P and Le Jib, is the project's flagship track. This piece highlights the hard work, effort, and energy required to stand out and make a place for yourself as an artist in the Quebec hip-hop scene. The lyrics reflect the three friends' acceptance as rappers within society.

DPillz, who has suffered from cystic fibrosis since he was young, has always felt the urgency to live. For the artist, this project represents a resurrection. In fact, he began to write "33" when he himself was that age, after years of living with the disease.

Brandon Del Corpo (Bamis, We will productions) provided the mixing and mastering of “33» . Distributed by Bohemaa Communications/Symphonic Canada, the album will be available on all digital platforms on Friday, October 13, 2023.
