On this February 11, 2026, in collaboration with Is-One, Demi Portion unveiled the clip Shibuya, recorded and filmed in Tokyo. A new international chapter for the rapper from Sète, who continues to expand his reach from one continent to another. After North America, now he's in Asia… and tomorrow, perhaps South America, who knows.
Demi Portion, craftsman and builder
Demi Portion He built his career off the beaten path. Albums, tours, on-the-ground connections: he moves at his own pace, without depending on anyone. Let's just say he's the kind of artist who has remained authentic.
He is also the driving force behind the Demi Festival in Sète, which has become a major Hip-Hop event in France. Designed as a human-scale gathering, the festival brings together artists and a loyal audience each summer around a lineup that reflects his vision of rap. Building such a project independently, year after year, confirms his role as a true builder.

With Shibuya, he pushes this open-minded approach even further by going to record directly in Japan.
ISH-ONE, an international trajectory
On this track, he shares the mic with Ish-One, a recognized figure in Japanese rap. Originally from Nagoya, Ish-One moved to the United States at 18 to study at the Institute of Audio Research in New York. He built his experience on stage and in cyphers before returning to Japan to launch his own label, YingYang Production.
His album Next reached No. 2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart in Japan, while the single New Money gained traction in clubs and received airplay on HOT97 in New York. In 2014, D.R.O.P took the top spot on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart. Over the years, he has expanded his international collaborations, notably with Snoop Dogg, Redman, and Slash, along with appearances alongside N.O.R.E. and Kool G Rap.
Shibuya is not just a remote feature. The track was recorded and filmed in Tokyo, in one of the most iconic districts of the Japanese capital.
