With the release of the Dead Villains video, Dusty Locane delivers his most recent release and confirms an active return after several months of relative discretion.
Since his release in 2024, the Brooklyn rapper has been dropping tracks such as Body Bag, All Alone, Talk To Me, 4 U, and Señorita, while alternating with targeted collaborations, notably alongside Albee Al on Clash of the Titans and All Stars.
Who is Dusty Locane?
Originally from Canarsie, Brooklyn, Dusty Locane broke through in the early 2020s with Rollin n Controllin Freestyle and Rolando (Caught in the Rain), two tracks that circulated widely across platforms and social media. His deep, gritty tone quickly drew attention, to the point of being regularly cited in discussions around post-2020 New York drill.
In 2021, he reached a new milestone with his debut album Untamed, followed in 2022 by Nightmare On Da Fifth, a darker project rooted in his street universe and supported by several Brooklyn-based collaborations. That same year, he multiplied short formats with the EPs Rollin N Controllin and Catch Da Flu, then collaborative projects Say Dat and -95 Degrees.
His most recent full-length project to date remains the mixtape From Da Flu With Luv (2023), released shortly before a period of incarceration that put his career on hold.
Since 2024, Dusty Locane has avoided premature announcements. Instead, he has established a steady presence with standalone tracks, each accompanied by a visual or an official audio.
Will he release an album in 2026?
