Hip-Hop Show “Dans Ta Ville”: First Edition in Joliette on May 16
The evening promises a rich mix of sounds with performances by Mkey, Aurèle, and Mbee.
Quebec rap is taking over Joliette. Le Jib & Cœur D’art Records announce the first edition of the Hip-Hop show Dans Ta Ville, a unifying event that will feature four emerging artists you don’t want to miss: Le Jib, Mkey, Aurèle and Mbee.
The event is set for May 16, 2026, at Hôtel Victoria in Joliette. More than two hours of Quebec rap, complementary artistic styles, and a night designed to celebrate and showcase the local rap scene. The event is 18+ only.
A concept rooted in a larger project
This show is part of Dans Ta Ville, the tour by Le Jib, directly inspired by the track of the same name from his recent album Même ensemble on est seul. A song that has just been added to rotation on SiriusXM Franco, confirming the artist’s steady rise on the Quebec scene.
Magazine Hip-Hop had already highlighted Le Jib’s journey in an in-depth interview, pointing to the artistic maturity and consistency of his approach. Since then, the artist hasn’t slowed down: he’s been stacking live dates to sharpen his album, with notable opening slots, including for Mindflip and Shreez in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac in March 2025, and for MonMon in Montreal on May 29.
One evening, four universes
The evening promises a rich sonic diversity with Mkey, Aurèle, and Mbee, three emerging Quebec artists, each bringing their own style. Merch and albums will be available on site.
