Kaaris returns like an earthquake with a new freestyle titled Petzi, released on YouTube on June 4, 2026. Directed by Sponge Productions, the video has already racked up several hundred thousand views and is part of a series of releases that are building anticipation for a larger project.
The track also serves as an introduction to his upcoming mixtape Byakugan, scheduled for release on June 12, 2026, through OG Records, with distribution by Virgin Music / Universal Music France. The project is already available for pre-order through his official store, with several formats on offer, including an enhanced physical edition.
A steady build-up ahead of the project's release
After an initial preview released in May with Le Sevranais, Kaaris is picking up the pace as the release approaches.
On the commercial side, the strategy is clear: increase releases to establish the universe of the Byakugan project ahead of its full release. The mixtape is announced as a solo project, with no featured guests at this stage, reinforcing a creative direction focused entirely on the artist.
A limited edition already available
In parallel with the clip, a limited-edition Release Party pack (300 copies) is being offered. It includes an invitation to a launch event, a clothing item of choice, two physical versions of the project, as well as a dedicated USB key.
