With Ayia Nappa, Ramos sets up a strategic face-to-face with Rim’K, an established figure in French rap. Released online a few hours ago, the video sets a clear framework: a meeting between a fast-rising new generation and a veteran who still knows how to carry weight.
This collaboration didn't happen by chance: it comes as a validation, but above all as an exchange of positions. On one side, Ramos, Still in its installation phase, it is asserting its identity and rhythm. On the other hand, Rim'K brings his experience and presence, without overshadowing the rest of the piece.
Visually, Ayia Nappa plays the card of balance. The clip that accompanies the track puts both voices on equal footing and lets the music create the link between generations. Rim’K’s voice is instantly recognizable impossible to mistake it.
For Rim'K, It is a logical continuation: to remain present, to transmit without speeches, simply through music.
Who is the rapper Ramos?
Originally from Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne, 94), Ramos, also known under the alias Ramosmpr, has established himself as a rising figure in independent French rap thanks to a consistent presence on digital platforms and a series of freestyles that have found their audience.
Active mainly on YouTube, his official channel has over 35,000 subscribers and around forty videos, including freestyles, excerpts, and music videos. His audience closely follows each of his projects, notably the MPR series, which has helped solidify his reputation within French rap.
A discography taking shape
On January 23, 2026, Ramos released his first EP titled MPR, a collection of 10 tracks available on all streaming platforms. The project brings together songs such as Intro and MPR #7, as well as tracks that had already circulated as singles prior to the EP, including Gamberge and Full Black.
Before this EP, several installments of the MPR series had been released as freestyles or singles, including MPR #4, which was put online in 2023 and represents one of the milestones of his trajectory.
Musically, Ramos blends elements of contemporary urban rap with distinctive flows and instrumentals that at times lean toward drill or melodic patterns, depending on the track. His rap reflects consistent work on writing and energy, and the artist knows how to leverage his universe to create a connection with his audience.
Ramos has mastered his digital presence: beyond YouTube, he releases his tracks on Spotify and social media, announcing his drops in advance and paying close attention to the visual aesthetics of his projects.
His strategy fits a model typical of today’s independent rappers: building up content, interacting with the community, and releasing regularly to keep listeners engaged.
His first EP MPR marks an important milestone in his journey, and with collaborations alongside established artists such as Rim’K, the bar is now set high.
