Sampa the Great is back with Can't Hold Us, A new video that confirms once again why she remains one of the most essential voices in contemporary rap. Born in Zambia, raised in Botswana, she has been writing songs since the age of nine, a journey that took her to Australia in the 2010s, and then to an international career that cannot be ignored.

Her first project, The Great Mixtape, released in 2015, immediately drew attention. A few months later, the iconic label Ninja Tune discovered her and brought her on board. Since then, Sampa has been carving her path with a rare level of creativity: a sharp writer, skilled rapper, instinctive singer, and fully formed poet.

The clip Can't Hold Us, directed by Iggy London, pushes its visual universe even further. We find there that quiet strength, that unique way of transforming its origins, its influences and its struggles into images that strike without shouting.
