SG arrives with “Condamné” and the EP Tokyo

S.G made a remarkable exit with the video clip Condamné, unveiled on the record company's YouTube channel Explicit Productions.

This release also marks the arrival of his new EP Tokyo, available now on all platforms. Condamné was made by Jamal Jackson and Dino Caesar as well as a musical production signed TNO. The recording was done by the good old St-Saoul, while the mixing and mastering were entrusted to M-Press Live for No Sleep.

Although his music video is broadcast on the channel Explicit Productions, S.G clarifies that he is not officially part of the label. His connection with Fred (T-Mo from Taktika), a respected figure in Quebec hip-hop, was built on a fraternal relationship and geographical proximity, the two artists being from the same city.

Active for a decade, S.G began writing at the age of 15-16 and made his debut in the studio at 17. Today, at 27, he asserts his artistic identity and his desire to convey a strong message through his music. With Condamné, it highlights the reality of those who start with few assets, but who, through their choices, can change the course of their lives.

“I mainly wanted to convey the reality that anything can start in an unfavorable environment, and that depending on your choices, you can go wherever you want. We always have the choice to make the right decisions,” he explains.

This project is also intended to be a testing ground, where S.G seeks to innovate, to think outside the box and to demonstrate its versatility.

“Through this track, I sought to explore another dimension of the notion of “condemnation.” For me, being condemned is not only about facing justice or society, but it is also, in some cases, being born with a destiny already written, as I express at the beginning of the second verse: “From birth, condemned.” With this piece, I hope to open the debate and invite everyone to reflect on these social realities, on the power of choices and on the importance of never losing hope, even when everything seems decided in advance,” he explains.

For now, no shows are planned, but S.G is actively working on finalizing his second solo album and several upcoming collaborations.

“You won’t see the last of my name circulating,” he promises.

With Condamné and the EP Tokyo, S.G confirms that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the Quebec rap scene, where authenticity and determination continue to guide his journey.
