Scylla & Furax Barbarossa have just unveiled the clip of Memphis, the new centerpiece of their project Portes du Désert (10 jours, 10 nuits), an album that has already achieved cult status in French-speaking rap circles. Produced by Virgil Hombach, the video has been available since this morning on YouTube.

Visually, Memphis opts for great simplicity. In a refined decor, Scylla & Furax Barbarossa are seated across from each other at a table, taking turns singing their verses. This minimalist staging reinforces the album's mystical character and immerses the viewer in the artistic exchange intended by the two rappers—a choice that perfectly achieves its goal.

We find the two MCs faithful to their DNA: charismatic, dark, implacable. It's not just about rapping in a video, but about paint a vision.

Under the precise realization of Virgil Hombach, the video manages to capture all the intensity of the song, carried by the composition of Kendo, absolutely remarkable on this project.
