Lyrical Joe unveils a 12-Minute Music Video for His ''5th August'' Series

Ghanaian rap sensation Lyrical Joe, renowned for her hard-hitting lyricism and captivating storytelling, has once again captured the hearts of hip-hop fans with the release of a new 12-minute music video titled 5th August 9This latest song is part of his famous annual rap series. 5th August, a tradition that he has faithfully continued for nine consecutive years.

Born Joseph Gamor on August 5, 1995, in Accra, Ghana. Lyrical Joe was marked by resilience and passion. Orphaned at a young age, he drew on his life experience to inform his art, drawing inspiration from hip-hop legends like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Eminem. Since his debut in the spotlight as the only Ghanaian rapper on the show African X-Factor in 2011, Lyrical Joe has continued to establish himself as one of the most respected lyricists in the country.

The August 5th series is an annual gift to his fans, celebrating both his birthday and his artistic growth. The series has received critical acclaim, with the fifth installment winning Best Rap Performance at the 2021 TGMA (Top Ghana Music Awards) 2021.
