Born in Ghurala, Punjab in 1997, Aujla experienced tragedy at a young age, losing both his parents at the age of 14. In 2014, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, to live with his sister. There, while attending Burnaby South Secondary School and working part-time on the Vancouver waterfront, he quietly honed his talents as a songwriter and musician.
Canada became the launching pad for his dreams. From writing lyrics for big Punjabi stars to developing his signature sound in studios in Toronto and Vancouver, the rapper's journey Aujla is rooted in the experience of the Canadian diaspora. His music now crosses continents.
