JID unveal Community with (Clip: Pusha T & Malice)
It is both a conversation between artists of different generations and a mirror held up to the realities of working-class neighborhoods.
The song Community figure on God Does Like Ugly, the new album by JID released in summer 2025. This opus marks an important step in his career: after having imposed his style on The Never Story and DiCaprio 2, then achieved international recognition with The Forever Story, JID continues its progression by combining introspection, social awareness and large-scale collaborations. By choosing Clipse, it is not just a shot of nostalgia: it is anchored in a historical continuity between generations of visionary rappers.
Behind the name Clipse two brothers from Virginia are hiding: Pusha T and MaliceIn the 2000s, they established themselves as one of the most influential duos in Hip-Hop with classics like Grindin' (2002) and the album Hell Hath No Fury (2006), praised for its darkness and realism. After their separation in 2010, Pusha T pursued a successful solo career while Malice, became No Malice, has moved away from rap to focus on more spiritual projects. Their occasional return to the studio in recent years had already left a mark on fans, but seeing them reunited in a major music video alongside JID confirms that their legacy remains alive and influential.
