"Invincible": the youth of Mérignac
"Invincible" is proof that when passion meets structure, anything becomes possible.
From Mérignac, the next generation is organizing. The project Notes Urbaines #1, initiated by the Mérignac Town Centre Youth and Culture Centre, takes shape with the release of the title Invincible, a collective creation born in February 2024 and unveiled at Carcans Beach as part of a filming project led by FifthAgency.
The result of collaborative work between young people from the MJC, Djoozy Music, Sinto Pap (author-performer) and Joris Lecoq (beatmaker and sound engineer), the track embodies the power of a simple message: believe in yourself, persevere, and transform the energy of everyday life into artistic expression.
Guided by the MJC's animation team and sound and video professionals, the participants recorded a piece of music they themselves created. written, composed and recorded at Hey Studios.
The music video, produced by FifthAgency, this testifies to the vitality of the local scene and the creative power of a generation that refuses to remain a spectator. Behind this project lies a veritable ecosystem: the City of Mérignac and the Prefecture of Gironde support the initiative, confirming the growing place of hip-hop in cultural programs dedicated to youth.
Invincible, this proves that when passion meets structure, anything is possible. A first step towards Urban Notes, which promises to amplify the voice of those who are building the culture of tomorrow, microphone in hand.
