The 3rd edition of the Hip-Hop Block Party, presented by Natyf TV, Harlem of the North and carried by the essentials Mathieu Leonard and Keke Calixte, was a resounding success. This year, the event moved from Little Burgundy to Mackenzie King Park, in the heart of Côte-des-Neiges, a change of scenery that proved to be a winner.

On Saturday, Styles P, member of the legendary LOX, set the stage alight. On Sunday, it's Waka Flocka Flame, coming straight from Atlanta, who thrilled the audience, accompanied by DJ Whoo Kid by G-Unit. The two days attracted impressive crowds in an electric and festive atmosphere.

On the local scene, several artists shone: King Kapital B, King K LV, MPP and Friends, Borden, Obia le Chef and Loe Pesci marked on Saturday, while WORD, CDX, Kalibre, Snowside, Kayiri and Troy Dunnit delivered a solid performance on sunday.

The audience, made up of all generations, enjoyed a family-friendly setting enriched by local business stalls, street food, art, and vibrant cultural expressions centered around hip-hop.

Multiple DJs, like Red Dredd, Mike Mission, Finest, Sir D, Swirl, New, AK and Belgarçon, followed one another during the two days in order to maintain the atmosphere from start to finish.

The atmosphere was decidedly positive: perfect weather, no incidents, and a great collective energy throughout the weekend. The entertainment was provided by two well-known figures: Dice B, Montreal rap icon and Big Jo the Legend, Sunday.

Mathieu Leonard, visibly proud of this edition and Keke Calixte, on all fronts, savored every moment of this memorable weekend.

Montreal is already ready for the Hip-Hop Block Party 4.
