Magazine Hip-Hop had made a topo during part 1.
With great finesse of writing, Demi Portion pays tribute to the pioneers, groups, artists and activists who paved the way for the movement. His pen traces a true generational bridge thanks to skillful punchlines and numerous references, a sincere tribute to the history and culture of French rap. This piece is more than just a song: it is an act of memory and collective recognition.
We don't forget part 2 perfectly reflects this posture: an artist faithful to his values, committed to reminding that rap is not just about fame and numbers, but especially about a heritage to preserve. His clip, simple but solid, accompanies this declaration of love to Hip-Hop, reminding everyone of the importance of never forgetting one’s roots.
In parallel with his musical career, Demi Portion organizes since 2016 in Sète the Half Festival, an independent event that mixes classic headliners and emerging young talents. In 2025, he was invited to the Francos de Montréal, a testament to his international recognition, where he continues to forge links with the Quebec Hip-Hop scene and defend the spirit of authenticity and transmission that characterizes him.
