K8 Kavuyo, his real name William Muhire, is a talented artist from Rwanda, based in Chicago. He debuted in 2006 with a hip-hop single and then joined the label TFP, where he recorded his hit Rwandan GirlThis success led him to prestigious collaborations in East Africa. In 2009, his album Isaha Ya Munani won the IU Radio Award Best Hip-Hop Album. In 2010, he moved to the US to pursue his career.
