Ivorian rap continues to shine with Kadja

The Ivorian rapper Kadja (whose real name is Serge Christian Aitchin) reinforces its imprint on the African hip-hop scene with the clip of Bognan, released on April 5, 2025 on its YouTube channel KadjaOfficiel (60.1 k subscribers). Produced by JM Behi and mix by Faroch & Shado Chris, this title is part of the continuity of his project ONIGASHIMA.

A style that leaves its mark
Born in Cocody in 1993, Kadja has embodied Ivorian hardcore rap since his debut in high school. After the album Le Roi Fou (2019) and La vie la vraie (2022) – which exceeds one million streams in one month, the label's artist Aura Corp affirms his artistic maturity. His aggressive flow, compared to that of Damso or Booba, finds here a new echo with chiseled instruments and a signed visual direction Lekiller.

Career and collaborations
Veteran of the local scene alongside Kiff No Beat, Kadja multiplies impactful projects:

  • "Menbalescouilles" (2024) with Shado Chris, D14 and J-Haine
  • "Agrimotor" in featuring with J-Hate (2022)
  • "The Sound of the Moon", flagship single from his latest album

His participation in the show NOON on RTI in 2024 consolidated its national reputation, while Bognan illustrates his quest for technical and narrative excellence.

The title asserts itself as a fusion between the trap energy characteristic of his early works and afrobeat sounds, already perceptible in Kamora or Collé-serré. The usual collaboration with Shado Chris (at the origin of the tube Mousso) ensures a bold production, emblematic of the label Aura Corp.

With more than 160,000 views in a few hours (figures to be confirmed), Bognan adds to the list of generational anthems of Ivorian rap, between social demands and celebration of success.
