The Ivorian rapper Himra, his real name Bakayoko Abdul Rahim was born on May 28, 1998 in Cocody, Ivory Coast
At the age of 9, he began competing against his friends in impromptu freestyles in the playground. Later, he gained attention within the group SBS before releasing his first project entitled Omega in 2018, composed of 14 tracks. This album includes notable collaborations with Aura Corp (Si tu es garçon), Sabe Joroko (C’est le wei) And Doliziana Debordo (S’envolement).
He then joins forces with J-Hate for the project Brutal in 2019.
In 2021, with the album Ivoire Drill King, he inaugurates his contract with Def Jam Recordings Africa. This project brings together several artists, including Mist Cash, Gazo, Tripa Gninnin, YoungPro and The Juice.
The following year, he collaborated with Axe-P on the title Pti déj.
In 2023, he continues this momentum with the singles Sans pression and Y’a pas drap, accompanied by Albinny, Famous Freaky, Ozaki and Blitza.
In 2024, he released his album Jeune & Riche, which was a huge success. In just six months, the album was certified double gold in Ivory Coast by the Association of Music Producers and PublishersFaced with this craze, the artist decided to reissue the album in a Deluxe version, confirming his status as a key figure in Ivorian rap.
