Meduulla, the Manchester-born artist of Zimbabwean descent, marked a major turning point in her career with the release of her debut album Tabula Rasa September 17. Produced by Ethan Hill, the album offers a personal touch. This project, which includes collaborations with Niambi, Jay Malakhi, Gio Genesis, Rozzqween, Summer Pearl and Jess Edie, reflects a unique look at society, identity and the evolution of the British music scene.

A unique touch in British rap

The album highlights social issues while addressing personal topics, such as identity, femininity and the power of Black women. Melanin Monroe, featuring Rozzqween, celebrates the resilience and divine beauty of the Black woman. With Writers Revival, Meduulla proves her talent in handling words and emotions, while constantly pushing her own creative limits.

The project alternates between more experimental pieces, such as Blasé Shades, and more accessible pieces, such as New Kid with Jay Malakhi and Jess Edie, which seduces with its warm production and its positive message. Tabula Rasa is an album that explores the diversity of influences of Meduulla.
