A summit meeting
Enima, known for his raw lyrics and his ability to navigate between the codes of Quebec and French rap, continues to establish himself as a Boss of the rap game in Quebec while benefiting from the European market.
El Garra, a versatile artist, rapper, producer and director, whose career has been traced by Magazine Hip-Hop, has distinguished himself through his varied collaborations and his uncompromising style. He has established himself as a reference in the Montreal underground, with tracks like Bon Appétit or Sac de Sport.
The clip Hybride features the two artists and several women in a hotel room. The production emphasizes intensity and proximity, with close-ups and a gangster atmosphere reminiscent of the codes of Montreal street rap. The musical production, by El Garra and Voodo Beats, a mix of trap sounds and melodic touches, creating an ideal field of expression for the MC's flow Enima and the rapper's deep voice El Garra.
Through Hybride, Enima and El Garra speak of a raw reality, evoking their respective journeys and the duality of their identities. The piece is in line with the themes dear to Enima : rivalries, seduction, quest for money and street life, all while benefiting from the rapper's personalized touch El Garra.
This collaboration between two major figures of the local scene confirms the vitality and diversity of Quebec Hip-Hop, capable of competing with major international trends while asserting its own identity. Hybride is already shaping up to be a summer must-see for fans of French-language rap and a new milestone in the careers of both artists.
