Meeko continues to make noise on the rap scene, driven by a rare authenticity and contagious energy. Born in Montreal North, he released his first EP, Irreversible1, in 2019, before releasing a string of singles and projects that demonstrate his determination. His own style lies at the crossroads of genres: melodious French rap, sometimes raw, always honest.
Influenced by the US scene with Tory Lanez and Travis Scott, but also by monuments of French rap like Booba and Lefa, Meeko forges his own path, far from clichés. He sings about resilience, motivation, and his own struggles, offering a unique vibe to each song.
His goal is clear: to make music his career, to reach a wide audience, but without ever disguising himself. Through each release, he shares the belief that success is the result of hard work, and invites his fans to believe in themselves.
At the beginning of the year, Meeko uploaded a clip for Dépression which created a real buzz. The song's message hit the nail on the head, reaching a lot of people and circulating wildly thanks to the algorithm. We felt that Meeko really wanted to get something strong across, and he can be proud: mission accomplished, the public got it.
