Mindflip just released “Right Now”
The Quebec rapper Mindflip continues to make a splash in 2025. He has just unveiled his new music video Right Now, a single with Californian G-Funk sounds mixing soft melodies and summer vibes, produced by himself and co-produced with Jonathan RosasThe video perfectly captures the underground scene and the playful atmosphere of a boat ride with the power of a driving bass, highlighting all the versatility of Mindflip, both in interpretation and in production.
An inspiring and prolific artist
Originally from Gatineau, Mindflip (Simon Béland) is credited with turning his battle with Tourette's syndrome into a source of strength and expression, following the mantra:
“The only limits we have are the ones we impose on ourselves.”
Since his professional debut in 2018, he has established himself as a major figure in Canadian Hip-Hop, accumulating more than 100 million streams thanks to his west coast sounds inspired by the 90s/2000s and an uncompromising authenticity.
After the success of his Gold certified single Run My Shit In 2021, which accumulated 68 million streams, all plateforms combined, he continued his rise with titles like Exquisite and Never Let You Down, as well as the release in 2023 of his EP Duality: The Life of a Gemini in collaboration with the producer Soke.
An unforgettable evening at the Festivent de Lévis
Most recently, Mindflip participated in a memorable performance at Festivent de Lévis, the largest festival in the region and possibly the Hip-Hop event of the year in Quebec.
According to a message posted by Taktika, the event was experienced as a dream come true, with Mindflip sharing the big stage in front of thousands of spectators, family, friends and loyal fans.
He has performed alongside Quebec rap icons such as FouKi, Rymz, Loud, SP by Sans Pression, Dubmatique, as well as the legendary IAM headliner. This historic concert marked a major milestone in the career of Mindflip, symbolizing the realization of a long journey from his first shows to this collective recognition.

The gathering was praised for its energy and atmosphere, thanks to the support of the general director Seb Huot and the entire organization of Festivent. This event is not only a highlight in the history of Quebec rap, but also notable for its social and musical impact on all communities in Quebec.
Beyond the scenes, Mindflip continues his studio efforts and remains very active on streaming platforms, with an audience exceeding 1.3 million monthly listeners on YouTube Music.
