JID unveils the music video for "SK8" featuring Ciara & EARTHGANG
The release of the music video coincides with the announcement of one of the biggest international tours of the year.
JID strings together a series of remarkable releases. After delivering the A powerful Community video featuring the legendary duo Clipse, the East Atlanta artist returns with SK8, this time accompanied by Ciara and EARTHGANG. The track is from his new album. God Does Like Ugly, takes on a new dimension with a visual filmed by the director Maya Table.
The video delves into Atlanta's roller-skating scene, a central element of local culture. It captures the energy of iconic venues like Golden Glide and Cascade, two locations that shaped the Dirty South scene. Several influential figures from the city also appear, including Jermaine Dupri and Bijan Robinson, reinforcing the community aspect of the visual.
A massive world tour
The release of the music video coincides with the announcement of one of the biggest international tours of the year. JID prepares for nearly 70 dates distributed across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, which will be announced soon.

The first concert will take place on October 15th in Virginia Beach.
God Does Like Ugly, an album that brings together some heavy hitters
For this fourth album, JID has surrounded himself with key collaborators:
Clipse, Vince Staples, Mereba, Westside Gunn, Don Toliver, Ciara, Ty Dolla $ign, 6LACK, Jessie Reyez and EARTHGANG.
The project already stands out for its meticulous artistic direction and an obvious mastery of modern rap.
Critics have given the album high praise, both in the United States and in Europe. The media DAZED qualified JID of "one of the best rappers of the moment" while CLASH emphasizes that he has solidified his place among Atlanta's big names.
The journey of an artist who became a benchmark
Born and raised in East Atlanta, JID started making a name for himself with his EP DiCaprio in 2015, before being spotted by J. Cole and signed on Dreamville/Interscope.
With The Never Story then DiCaprio 2, he went on to deliver a series of remarkable performances, including his appearance in the Freshman Class XXL 2018.
His contribution to the collective project Revenge of the Dreamers III it earned him several GRAMMY nominations and massive success.
Since then, he has multiplied his high-level collaborations: Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, John Legend, James Blake, Offset, Denzel Curry, Smino, Khalid, Amine, Metro Boomin, and recently the album Alfredo 2 with The Alchemist and Freddie Gibbs.
JID asserts himself and confirms once again the extent of his talent.
