Zaho and MC Solaar join forces on “Comme Caroline”
At the same time, the singer is preparing a tour in France scheduled for 2026.
The Spanish version is currently in BETA mode.
It’s a meeting that wasn’t necessarily expected at the start of 2026, yet it makes perfect sense. Zaho has just unveiled the music video for her new single Comme Caroline, where she invites the legend MC Solaar. The track serves as the launchpad for her upcoming album titled VERSATILE, scheduled for release on April 3, 2026.
The video, directed by Alan Cohen and produced by the company Sign (with Noé Bahurel on editing), highlights this chemistry. The track is already accompanying the album’s pre-order campaign, confirming that Comme Caroline is one of the key pieces of this return.
A dialogue at the top of French rap
In this track, MC Solaar brings his signature pen for a verse that responds directly to the voice of the Algerian-Canadian singer.
This isn’t just another “featuring”: it’s a genuine exchange between two pillars of the Francophone scene. For Zaho, collaborating with the ace of French rap highlights her desire to reach a wide audience for her new project, while paying tribute to the history of the movement.
After the album RÉSILIENCE released in 2023, Zaho returns with a project she describes as more diverse. Besides this duet with Solaar, the project will also include the track Amour Propre.
The artist whom the public discovered in 2008 with the timeless C’est chelou has lost none of the power of her voice. It’s worth recalling that the singer, originally from Algiers and raised in Canada, has managed to establish herself in France through her writing and melodies. From her beginnings with the album DIMA to her collaborations with La Fouine, MHD, and Tayc, she has always kept one foot in the rap scene while reaching a wider audience.
To support this release, the singer has also planned a series of concerts across France for 2026. Fans will be able to see her on stage in Marseille, Bordeaux, and Lille, with a scheduled stop at the Zénith de Paris – La Villette on November 14, 2026. This Parisian date promises to be a highlight of her tour in one of the capital’s most iconic venues.
