With Koala (Remix), Passi returns to the forefront with a track designed for the present. Recently released, the song follows a simple approach: stay active, connect eras, and keep rap moving without being stuck in the past.
On this remix, Passi teams up with NDO Layams and hands production duties to Djimi Finger, a name already connected to the Secteur Ä universe. The track leans on a direct energy, tailored for nightlife, and stages a smooth exchange between two generations. Far from forced nostalgia, the song moves forward, embraces its era, and plays on the complementarity of the voices.
This release fits into a now long and structuring journey, which began with Ministère ÄMER and has continued to evolve ever since.
Around this collective dynamic, artists such as Doc Gynéco, Ärsenik, Neg’Marron, Singuila, and Stomy Bugsy each left their mark in their time, within a logic of transmission rather than showcase.
Beyond rap, Passi was also one of the driving forces behind the afro-rap group Bisso Na Bisso, a project that opened the door to new cultural bridges and influenced a more recent generation, from Tiakola to Naza, including Keblack. His career also includes standout collaborations with mainstream artists, notably Calogero and Johnny Hallyday. When you’re singing with artists of that stature, it simply means you’re part of the elite.
