Dice-B releases “DiceBoogie Vol. 1 »
A 7-track project that combines wisdom, charisma and that boom-bap groove that only he knows how to distill.

On May 30th, Dice-B, a living monument of Quebec rap and veteran of the Montreal airwaves, made his big comeback with DiceBoogie Vol. 1. A 7-track project, presented by Crystal Discs, which combines wisdom, charisma and that boom-bap groove that only he knows how to distill. Mature hip-hop that hits hard enough to make the windows of your cousin's Civic rattle.
The album opens with Existential, an introspective piece that asks the big questions — “Who am I?” style, but with swing. Follows No Mercy yeah, produced by DJ Boogy, which is also the first music video from the album.
On Man apart, Dice-B traces his solo path, faithful to his unclassifiable style. Then comes Boombap Nation, where Dice calls on his brother sunshan : a true ode to purists. With Drama, we enter a street film in CinemaScope, punchlines included.
The finale is solid: That's how it is and Chessboard close the curtain with finesse and strategy.
Dice-B plays chess while others are still playing hopscotch.
A living legend
Active since 1984, Dice-B is not just a rapper: he is a living chapter in the history of Quebec hip-hop. Former member of the collective CatBurglaz, he is also the iconic host of Nuit Blanche on Radio Centre-Ville (102.3 FM), a show that has become a cult classic in the Montreal landscape.
Mentor, unifier and eternally passionate, Dice-B helped lay the foundations of hip-hop culture here. And with DiceBoogie Vol. 1, he reminds us that he's still here — sharp, relevant, and true to his roots.
Available now on all platforms for those who like their rap with experience and flavor.
