Parazar gets people talking with “Ghir hak”
Things could change quickly for the rapper.
Parazar, continues to make his mark with the release of his latest music video Ghir hak, released on April 23, 2025. This title, available on all platforms, perfectly illustrates the versatility and authenticity of the Montreal artist with Algerian roots.
On a signed production Iheb Azizi, Parazar delivers a track that mixes incisive rap, sung melodies and raï influences, all carried by lyrics that are both personal and universal. The video, directed by Ali Boutaleb, stages Parazar in an urban and energetic atmosphere, surrounded by dancers and extras, with an attention to detail that reflects the rapper's visual universe.
After a notable first EP and a series of notable collaborations includingYa Delali with DJ Moulay and Or with OneNessa, she has performed on prestigious stages, from the Francos de Montréal to Osheaga, including festivals in France such as the Rose Festival in Toulouse, initiated by BigFlo and Oli.
His discography was enriched in 2023 with the EP Once upon a time, then in 2024 with Monolove, a surprise project where she shares the microphone with Rymz. Parazar has also provided opening acts for major artists such as Cypress Hill, proof of his growing recognition on the music scene.
The anchoring of Parazar in the Quebec hip-hop scene is no longer in doubt, but it is also internationally that she is beginning to shine. Her previous collaboration with Adlene on the piece Dalma was praised by the Magazine Hip-Hop, which already highlighted its authenticity, its ability to blend French and Arabic, and its commitment to promoting Maghreb heritage through strong images and powerful texts.
With such a background and such proven talent, it wouldn't be surprising to see high-level collaborations emerge in the near future. Subjectively, we can imagine that artists like La Fouine, a figure of French rap, or the Montreal singer Zaho, might be tempted to join forces with Parazar.
With the right connections and such an artistic level, things could quickly evolve for the rapper, who has everything it takes to make Quebec shine on the international scene thanks to this type of collaboration. Parazar today embodies a new generation of artists capable of representing their culture, innovating musically and establishing themselves with strength and originality in French-speaking rap.
