Ye's Masterstroke with BULLY V1
Ye has a habit of thinking outside the box, and this time he really hit the mark…
Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) has chosen an unconventional approach to share his latest work, BullyInstead of a traditional album release, the renowned and controversial artist released a previously unreleased version of the project in the form of a 45-minute music video available on platforms such as YouTube and Apple Music.
Titled BULLY V1, this striking visual experience is reminiscent of a short film that Ye had teased last week amidst its flashy features on social media. The black and white aesthetic, designed by Yeezy himself and mounted by the famous Hype Williams, features his nine-year-old son, Saint. In a dramatic story, Saint takes on a series of wrestlers wielding a mallet, against the backdrop of an intense wrestling ring.
However, fans will notice a significant change in the musical component of this release. The streaming version contains nine tracks instead of the originally planned ten, the collaboration " Melrose " with Playboi Carti and Ty Dolla $ign having been omitted due to alleged tensions between Ye and both artists. In addition, the order of the tracks has been rearranged, with Peso Pluma as the only guest artist on the title “ Last Breath", where the mogul even experiments with rap in Spanish.
