Bobby One secures his spot: his new single “Pas / Assez” is out
The track is already making waves in local playlists.
The Spanish version is currently in BETA mode.
After a ten-year hiatus, Bobby One confirms that his comeback is no coincidence. On March 5, 2026, the Montreal rapper released Pas / Assez, his second single since returning to the mic.
Originally from Montreal, Bobby One made his mark in the early 2010s. He is remembered for his standout appearance at the Francouvertes in 2014 and his album Mon Voilier, released on Silence D’or and Joy Ride Records, where he notably shared the mic with Koriass.
For this new chapter, he surrounds himself with a team of veterans: DJ Manifest on production and the versatile Farfadet handling recording and mixing.
In Pas / Assez, Bobby One takes a clear-eyed look at the daily life of many local artists. Over a jazz-infused beat, he explores this constant duality: on one side, talent and stage dreams; on the other, the need to work a side job to pay the bills. It’s a narrative track that avoids shortcuts and speaks directly to those juggling studio sessions with a work “shift.”
