About the artists
Born Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo on February 11, 1997 in Soweto, he is a leading South African rapper, songwriter, and producer.
Since his first album Bad Hair in 2016, he experienced a constant rise thanks to outings like Strings and Bling (2018), who won the award for best Hip-Hop album and best album produced at SAMAs, and has expanded its international notoriety with Zulu Man With Some Power and I Love It Here (2023).
He has forged the reputation of being the coolest kid in Africa and even signed a collaboration with Def Jam Recordings Africa. His dynamic career includes successful releases, international tours and a fusion of deep South African roots and international Hip-Hop.
Sihle Sithole, known professionally as Blxckie, was born on November 24, 1999 and is from Sydenham Heights, in Durban.
He mixes melodic trap and raw, poignant writing. His first album, B4Now, released in 2021, is certified Gold in South Africa and includes the exceptional collaboration Ye x4 with Nasty C.
His rise really picked up during the COVID-19 lockdown, earning recognition as Apple Music’s Up Next artist and topping MTV Base SA's Hottest MCs list
