“DRD – Dernier Rappeur Debout” The rap competition that's setting CIBL 101.5FM ablaze

In September, the show On s'en Rap spear DRD – Last Rapper Standing, a 1-on-1 rap competition, live on CIBL 101.5 FM and filmed by the visual team of IDGN.

For five consecutive Mondays (September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.), rappers will compete to maintain their place at the top and win the title of Last Rapper Standing.

The concept is simple but formidable: king of the hill format. Each winning MC remains on the throne, ready to face a new challenger. Participants will have to deliver a minimum of 16 bars, according to the challenges proposed by the On s’en Rap team. They will perform to mystery instrumentals selected by a guest DJ.

To win, you'll need a solid flow, powerful lyrics, and a stage presence capable of impressing both the audience and the jury, composed of renowned music industry figures.

The shows will be hosted by the usual team On s’en Rap : Métis Wallace, Number Juan, Jez Muertadel, Bouchard, Julien Clairoux, Peezee, Icebwoy and Liza-Marie aka Blue, who will liven things up between rounds with interviews, analysis, and interactions.

Good news: the shows are open to the public in the studio for free, a unique opportunity to experience the live experience and groove to the rhythm of local rap.

Registration is open until August 30, 2025, via the attached form, and the list of participants will be revealed on August 31.
