Lyrical Joe unveils a 12-Minute Music Video for His ''5th August'' Series

Ghanaian rap sensation Lyrical Joe, renowned for his powerful lyricism and captivating storytelling, has once again captured the hearts of hip-hop fans with the release of a new 12-minute music video titled 5th August 9. This latest track is part of his celebrated annual August 5th, rap series, a tradition he has faithfully maintained for nine consecutive years.

Born Joseph Gamor on August 5, 1995, in Accra, Ghana. Lyrical Joe 's musical journey has been marked by resilience and passion. Orphaned at a young age, he drew on his life experiences to shape his art, drawing inspiration from hip-hop legends like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Eminem. Since bursting into the spotlight as the only Ghanaian rapper on African X-Factor in 2011, Lyrical Joe has steadily established himself as one of the country's most respected lyricists.

The August 5th  series is an annual gift to his fans, celebrating both his birthday and his artistic growth. The series has received critical acclaim, with the fifth installment winning Best Rap Performance at the 2021 TGMA (Top Ghana Music Awards) 2021.
