The summer of 2025 will remain etched in rap history: Busta Rhymes<\/a><\/strong> received his own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame<\/strong>. During the ceremony, LL Cool J<\/a><\/strong>, Chuck D<\/a><\/strong> of the group Public Enemy<\/strong> and comedian Chris Rock<\/strong> were present to celebrate the exceptional career of this Hip-Hop monument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A unique and charismatic journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

His real name Trevor Smith Jr.<\/strong>, Busta Rhymes<\/strong> is known for his explosive energy, unmatched speed of speech, and boundless creativity. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he first rose to prominence in the early 1990s with the band Leaders of the New School<\/em><\/strong>, then truly explodes solo thanks to cult collaborations on Scenario<\/em><\/strong> by A Tribe Called Quest<\/strong> and Flava In Ya Ear (Remix)<\/em><\/strong> by Craig Mack<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Busta<\/strong> then had a string of successes with albums that became benchmarks: The Coming<\/strong><\/em>, When Disaster Strikes<\/strong><\/em>, Extinction Level Event<\/strong><\/em>, or even Genesis<\/strong><\/em>. He has amassed five platinum and two gold records, placed ten tracks in the Billboard Top 40 and laid his signature flow on more than 300 tracks over the course of three decades of his career. His theatrical style and innovative music videos (we remember Gimme Some More<\/strong> or Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See<\/strong>) have inspired generations of artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
