In a moment of pure magic and unity, the organism Harlem of the North<\/strong> orchestrated a spectacular event in the Vinet Park<\/strong> from the district of Little Burgundy<\/strong> to celebrate all elements of Hip-Hop. This festive day, open to all ages, left a lasting impression on the minds and hearts of the participants who came out in force to celebrate culture and love. The place was packed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event hosted by Dice B<\/strong> (Nuit Blanche<\/em>) and Carmina<\/strong> (La Pause Hip-Hop, Natyf TV<\/em>) was a true immersion into the world of Hip-Hop, paying homage to its heritage and local icons. Throughout the day, the DJs: Red Dredd<\/strong>, Manifest<\/strong>, Godfather D<\/strong>, Godsta<\/strong> and Quest<\/strong> followed one another, playing music from 1973 to the present day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A particularly moving moment was the tribute paid to Bad News<\/strong> Brown<\/strong><\/a>, a hip-hop legend who made his mark on musical history. His contribution to the hip-hop movement was remembered and honored with emotion by artists and fans who came to express their admiration. We were even treated to a moving speech from the legendary promoter. Rickey D<\/a>, <\/strong>an important figure in the emancipation of our culture as well as a masterful performance by Kayiri.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many artists such as Scynikal<\/a><\/strong>, Rico<\/strong> Blox<\/strong><\/a>, Loe Pesci<\/a>, DJ Blast<\/a><\/strong>, Know Kandu<\/a><\/strong> took to the stage to give their testimonies and as a result, received a lot of love from the audience and the organizers. In the crowd, we could notice a multitude of personalities such as Mike Shabb<\/a><\/strong>, Simon 16<\/a><\/strong>, Empress<\/strong> Mary<\/strong><\/a>, Witness<\/strong>, Natty Soyha<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, Ten-iple Deca<\/a>, Joe the Legend<\/a><\/strong> all on site to offer their support to the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DJ competition set up by DMS<\/a><\/strong> and animated by Feezy Ciss\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, was also a highlight of the day. Local talents, DJ Rossy Ross<\/a><\/strong> and DJ Flip<\/a><\/strong> competed behind their decks, delivering electrifying sets that got the crowd pumping. Each was able to express their creativity and passion for music, making this competition a memorable spectacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performances of remarkable artists: Nicholas Craven<\/a><\/strong>, Jimmie D<\/a>,<\/strong> Meryem Saci<\/a><\/strong>, King<\/strong> Capital B<\/strong><\/a>, The Youngin<\/strong> (Ti-Kid<\/strong>)<\/a>, The Bouro<\/a>, Larso<\/a>, Rizzlah<\/a>, Magnum<\/a>, Starky Starks<\/a>,<\/strong> Colossal<\/a><\/strong> set the stage of the event ablaze. Dancers from Montreal<\/strong> BBoying<\/strong><\/a> and graffiti artists competed in talent, offering captivating performances. The audience was in turmoil, actively participating and supporting each artist in a spirit of solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the day was the celebration of the 25th anniversary<\/strong> from the album Armageddon<\/strong> by Rainmen<\/a><\/strong>, an iconic group of Quebec Hip-Hop. Their success and impact on culture were celebrated with joy and gratitude. The big surprise of the evening was, without a doubt, Skandal<\/a><\/strong> who made an explosive entrance on stage to perform the great classic No Chilling<\/strong>. The crowd was cheering! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moments of nostalgia filled the air as the band members shared anecdotes from their journey and experiences on stage while performing some of their greatest classics as well as a few new releases. Outra La Pieuvre<\/a><\/strong> and Naufrage<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> accompanied by their DJ Pro-V<\/a><\/strong> closed this unforgettable day with an electrifying performance that lived up to their reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this event wasn't just about music and dancing. It was enriched by a variety of activities for all ages, allowing families to enjoy this special day together. Local shops, varied food stalls, and relaxation areas were set up, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incredible day filled with love and passion for Hip-Hop was a testament to the power of music to bring communities together. The organization Harlem of the North, <\/strong>led by Keke Calixte <\/strong>and Laurraine Leblanc<\/strong>, was able to create an unforgettable event, where everyone was able to experience and share the very essence of Hip-Hop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unique gathering in the Small<\/strong> Burgundy<\/strong> left a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of all who participated. It strengthened the bonds between hip-hop enthusiasts, while conveying a message of love, respect, and unity that still resonates through the neighborhood's streets today. A day that will remain etched in the annals of hip-hop and the region's cultural history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
