This festive day, open to all ages, left a lasting impression on the minds and hearts of the participants who came out in force to celebrate culture and love. The place was packed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1022.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7139\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1022.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1022-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1022-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The event hosted by <strong>Dice B<\/strong> (<em>Nuit Blanche<\/em>) and <strong>Carmina<\/strong> (<em>La Pause Hip-Hop, Natyf TV<\/em>) was a true immersion into the world of Hip-Hop, paying homage to its heritage and local icons. Throughout the day, the DJs: <strong>Red Dredd<\/strong>, <strong>Manifest<\/strong>, <strong>Godfather D<\/strong>, <strong>Godsta<\/strong> and <strong>Quest<\/strong> followed one another, playing music from 1973 to the present day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A particularly moving moment was the tribute paid to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/bad-news-brown\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1803\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bad News<\/strong> <strong>Brown<\/strong><\/a>, a hip-hop legend who made his mark on musical history. His contribution to the hip-hop movement was remembered and honored with emotion by artists and fans who came to express their admiration. We were even treated to a moving speech from the legendary promoter. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/rickey-d\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rickey D<\/a>, <\/strong>an important figure in the emancipation of our culture as well as a masterful performance by <strong>Kayiri.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-medium-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>\u201cBad News Brown was an innovator and an inspiring leader for the community.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em>. <strong>Dice B<\/strong> host of Nuit Blanche 102.3fm<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Many artists such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/scynikal\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1792\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scynikal<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/rico-blox\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1793\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Rico<\/strong> <strong>Blox<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/loe-pesci\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1794\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Loe Pesci<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/dj-blast\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1795\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DJ Blast<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/know-kandu\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Know Kandu<\/a><\/strong> took to the stage to give their testimonies and as a result, received a lot of love from the audience and the organizers. In the crowd, we could notice a multitude of personalities such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/mike-shabb\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"401\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mike Shabb<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/simon-16\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Simon 16<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/empress-mary\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1789\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Empress<\/strong> <strong>Mary<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Witness<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/natty-soyha\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Natty Soyha<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/ten-iple-deca\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1791\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ten-iple Deca<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/joe-the-legend\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1790\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joe the Legend<\/a><\/strong> all on site to offer their support to the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DJ competition set up by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/dms\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1798\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DMS<\/a><\/strong> and animated by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/dms\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1798\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Feezy Ciss\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, was also a highlight of the day. Local talents, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/dj-rossy-ross\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DJ Rossy Ross<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/dj-flip\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1799\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DJ Flip<\/a><\/strong> competed behind their decks, delivering electrifying sets that got the crowd pumping. Dancers from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/montreal-bboying\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Montreal<\/strong> <strong>BBoying<\/strong><\/a> and graffiti artists competed in talent, offering captivating performances. Their success and impact on culture were celebrated with joy and gratitude. The big surprise of the evening was, without a doubt, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magazinehiphop.com\/en\/tag\/scandal\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"1787\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Skandal<\/a><\/strong> who made an explosive entrance on stage to perform the great classic <strong>No Chilling<\/strong>. Local shops, varied food stalls, and relaxation areas were set up, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This incredible day filled with love and passion for Hip-Hop was a testament to the power of music to bring communities together. It strengthened the bonds between hip-hop enthusiasts, while conveying a message of love, respect, and unity that still resonates through the neighborhood&#039;s streets today.
