Entitled Montreal New York<\/em>, this beat is a real journey between two emblematic cities of urban culture, carried by timeless beats and scratches of the essential DJ Horg<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tribute to the classics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As we already mentioned in our previous article on Clermont<\/strong>, the artist draws his inspiration from the golden age of hip-hop. In this new track, he pays homage to the legends who shaped his flow: KRS-One, Nas, Biggie, Fat Joe<\/strong>, and many others. His text, fluid and assured, reels off the references with an ease that recalls the time when D-Block, Smif-N-Wessun<\/strong> and the productions of DJ Premier<\/strong> dominated the clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clip, released on May 30, 2025, was born from a stay of Clermont<\/strong> in New York for his son's basketball tournament. This immersion in the city that saw the birth of hip-hop gave rise to this track, in which he proudly combines his Quebecois accent with the raw energy of NYC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
