With this release, the Marseille rapper makes a remarkable comeback, both a tribute to the golden age of French rap and proof of his ability to modernize his influences.

Directed by SlowmProd and produced by Napalm Prod, the clip of Mon École strikes by its authenticity. Kofs delivers a piece that exudes sincerity and nostalgia, drawing its inspiration from the era of legendary groups like Fonky Family, Sniper or other iconic figures from the early 2000s. The beat of the track, both raw and melodic, is a strong nod to this period, and Kofs fully succeeds in its challenge: to bring back the energy and spirit of this era while adding its own personal touch.

A strong and unifying message

In the clip, Kofs speaks openly about his relationship with the rap scene and his peers. He states in particular:

"There are rappers I would have called for fear of being turned away, if it were up to me, I would have invited everyone because since 2002 I've listened to everyone."

This sentence resonates as a manifesto of openness and respect towards the diversity of French rap. Kofs It expresses both the humility of someone who has never forgotten where he comes from, and the generosity of the artist who would have liked to bring the whole scene together around him, without distinction of generations or styles.

Who is KOFS? He launched himself on the Internet with titles like Paradis or Maître Cohen, and quickly builds up a loyal audience.

Kofs became known to the general public with his first album V in 2018, then went on to undertake prestigious projects and collaborations (Jul, SCH, Alonzo, Kaaris, Soolking…). He also participates in major collective projects such as 13’Organisé and Le Classico Organisé, which brings together the biggest names in Marseille and Parisian rap. A versatile artist, Kofs also distinguished himself in cinema, notably in Chouf and BAC Nord.

A modern heir to Marseille rap

With Mon École, Kofs proves that he is a worthy heir to the great tradition of Marseille rap.

A must-listen for all fans of French rap, whether nostalgic or curious to discover an artist who combines respect for the old guard with a fresh perspective on the current scene.

You can discover the discography of Kofs on Spotify.

[4
55,59,670,678,1331,606,1128
post-3972","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-europe","tag-entertainment","tag-featured","tag-hip-hop","tag-journal","tag-kofs","tag-magazine-hip-hop","tag-media
["GET
