Five years of work. That\u2019s how long it took for V\u00f6doo<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> to bring PCV<\/em><\/strong> to life. His debut album has been available since June 18, 2026. To mark this major milestone in his career, the MC went all in, releasing a brand-new music video alongside a ten-minute short film titled V\u00f6doo<\/strong>: La Story<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em>. Two complementary formats that retrace his journey while following the same narrative thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short film \"The Story\"<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

V\u00f6doo<\/strong><\/strong> didn\u2019t stop with the album. He also released V\u00f6doo<\/strong>: La Story<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em>, a ten-minute short film inspired by real events and directed by Sandy<\/strong> of Bwatacr\u00e9a<\/strong>. The project took four months to complete. The film tells the story of his journey, blending personal, artistic, and spiritual experiences into a powerful account of his path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes the project stand out is that he used artificial intelligence to create some of the film\u2019s visuals. For him, it\u2019s a way to bring cultures closer together and breathe life into meaningful projects, rather than using AI as a simple visual gimmick. The cast also features many of the artists who appear on the album: Imhotep<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, Daddy Lord C<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, Kohndo<\/a><\/strong>, Maj Trafyk<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, Kyo Itachi<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, Inuo<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, under the banners of Kika Prod<\/a><\/strong> and V\u00f6doomusic<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five years for a debut album, and it shows. PCV<\/strong><\/em> is anything but a rushed project, and the short film extends its vision through powerful visuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tracklist of his first album<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The album features twelve tracks, designed as a true musical journey. It opens with Intro<\/em><\/strong>, featuring a guitar solo performed by Lorenzo\u00b7S<\/a><\/strong>, and closes with Bossa Catalana<\/strong><\/em>, featuring Tom Darnal<\/a><\/strong>, Mano Negra<\/a><\/strong>, and Tekameli<\/a><\/strong>. Between those two tracks are Le Haut Niveau<\/strong><\/em> featuring Daddy Lord C<\/strong> and DJ Mastermike<\/strong>, R\u00e9pondeur<\/em><\/strong> and R\u00e9pondeur 2<\/strong><\/em>, 360 Degr\u00e9s<\/strong><\/em> featuring Tupan<\/a><\/strong>, Heroes 1804<\/em><\/strong>, a tribute to St\u00e9phane Zadire<\/strong>, and the remix of Le Temps N\u2019Existe Pas<\/em><\/strong> featuring Imhotep<\/strong>. Kyo Ita<\/a>chi<\/a><\/strong>, Maj Trafyk<\/strong>, and Inuo<\/strong> produced several of the album\u2019s tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The influence of 1990s Hip-Hop is unmistakable throughout the project. In the acknowledgments, V\u00f6doo<\/strong><\/strong> dedicates the album to St\u00e9phane<\/strong> and the General<\/strong>, closing with the words V\u00f6doo<\/strong> is love<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two names stand out among the featured artists: Daddy Lord C<\/strong> from La Cliqua<\/a><\/strong> and Imhotep<\/strong> from the legendary group IAM<\/a><\/strong>. They are far more than guest appearances added for the album cover\u2014they are two artists who genuinely supported him throughout the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although this is his debut album, V\u00f6doo<\/strong> already demonstrates a highly professional approach and remarkable humility. All signs suggest that he will be involved in many more projects in the years ahead. In the meantime, PCV<\/strong> is available on Bandcamp through V\u00f6doomusic<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
