Quebec rap is taking over Joliette. Le Jib<\/a><\/strong> & C\u0153ur D\u2019art Records<\/strong> announce the first edition of the Hip-Hop show Dans Ta Ville<\/em><\/strong>, a unifying event that will feature four emerging artists you don\u2019t want to miss: Le Jib, Mkey<\/a>, Aur\u00e8le<\/a> and Mbee<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is set for May 16, 2026<\/strong>, at H\u00f4tel Victoria in Joliette<\/strong>. More than two hours of Quebec rap, complementary artistic styles, and a night designed to celebrate and showcase the local rap scene. The event is 18+ only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A concept rooted in a larger project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This show is part of Dans Ta Ville<\/em><\/strong>, the tour by Le Jib<\/strong>, directly inspired by the track of the same name from his recent album M\u00eame ensemble on est seul<\/strong><\/em>. A song that has just been added to rotation on SiriusXM Franco<\/strong>, confirming the artist\u2019s steady rise on the Quebec scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magazine Hip-Hop<\/strong> had already highlighted Le Jib<\/strong>\u2019s journey in an in-depth interview, pointing to the artistic maturity and consistency of his approach. Since then, the artist hasn\u2019t slowed down: he\u2019s been stacking live dates to sharpen his album, with notable opening slots, including for Mindflip and Shreez<\/strong><\/strong> in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac in March 2025, and for MonMon<\/strong> in Montreal on May 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One evening, four universes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The evening promises a rich sonic diversity with Mkey, Aur\u00e8le, and Mbee<\/strong>, three emerging Quebec artists, each bringing their own style. Merch and albums will be available on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind the boards, @MCG from Original Records<\/strong> will handle the sound. And to capture the night, @photosbouvier<\/strong> will be on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
