Montreal, May 24, 2024<\/strong> - The Fonds 1804<\/strong> for academic perseverance is delighted to announce that Dramatik<\/a><\/strong>, renowned artist, philanthropist and cultural mediator, is the Nelson Mandela Prize winner<\/strong> of Fonds 1804<\/strong>. This award recognizes his exceptional contribution to the perseverance and educational success of young Quebecers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dramatik<\/strong> distinguished himself through his artistic, philanthropic, and cultural commitment. He inspired young people through his initiatives and his journey of perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"This pioneer of French-language rap in Quebec has been using his talents for years to help our young people stay in school. His numerous workshops and conferences in our schools have strengthened the desire to succeed in thousands of young Quebecers. The compilation album "\u00a0Royaut\u00e9, Disques 7e ciel<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb for the benefit of the Fonds 1804<\/strong> allows us to support 100 young people persevering in pursuing their post-secondary studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dramatik<\/strong> is an inspiring role model,\u201d said Edouard Staco<\/strong>, president of the Fonds 1804<\/strong> for academic perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prize will be awarded to him during the Gala de la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance scolaire<\/strong>, which will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Pierre-Mercure room of the Pierre-P\u00e9ladeau Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to highlighting the contribution of Dramatik<\/strong>, the Gala de la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance scolaire<\/strong> will be an exceptional moment where more than 750 parents, community stakeholders, school staff, elected officials and donors will come together to pay tribute to 135 young scholarship recipients from the Fonds 1804<\/strong> from the greater Montreal area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
